To check responsiveness in a baby, tap the foot forcefully. This irritates babies so you would know if they're responsive or not.

Scan for breathing and check the brachial pulse.
Chest Compressions
​The ration for compressions and breaths:
-
30:2 for single rescuer using the 2-finger technique
-
15:2 for 2 rescuers using the 2 thumbs encircling technique
Airway & Breathing
-
Avoid tilting the head too far back. This will make the tongue block the airway
-
Two breaths every cycle watching for chest rise
